Duolingo will help kids learn math

Duolingo is among the most popular language apps. The company is also preparing to expand its application portfolio. In this direction, Duolingo’s next stop will be an application that will help children learn mathematics.

It is stated that the development work of Duolingo’s mathematics application is still in its early stages. Luis von Ahn, CEO of Duolingo, made the statement on the subject. In his statement, von Ahn stated that the details about the application will be made at the traditional Duocon conference to be held at the end of the month.

The first signs of Duolingo’s new application have been seen in the past months. In May, the company posted a job posting to find a scientist with a doctorate in mathematics. In the advertisement in question, it was stated that the person to be recruited would work with a small team that performs cross functions. It was stated that the target of the new application will be students between the third and eighth grade.

Duolingo already has two applications. In addition to the popular language application, the Duolingo ABC application also helps children learn to read.
